Information Sessions & Support Group Meetings

Orlando - Ft. Lauderdale - St. Augustine

A very important beginning is to attend a public Informational Session. This is a live audio/visual presentation about U.S. Bariatric, the surgical process, and our multidisciplinary program. They are free and open to anyone interested in learning more about the surgical treatment for obesity.

Prospective patients are also encouraged to attend a Support Group meeting to learn about this experience first hand from our postoperative patients.

Reservations are never required for the Bariatric Information Sessions or Support Group Meetings.

Information Sessions

To participate in a discussion regarding all of our surgical procedures, please join us every Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm on the Campus of Florida Hospital, Celebration Health for the Wednesday Night Bariatric Information Session. At this informative session, our independent medical staff physician speakers will give you detailed information about bariatric surgery.

Support Group Meetings

Offered the 2nd Wednesday of every month 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Florida Hospital, Celebration Health.

Take the Florida Turnpike to US 192/US 441 exit number 242 toward Kissimmee/St. Cloud. Turn left onto US 192W and follow until you reach Celebration Place (approx. 15 miles). Turn left onto Celebration Place and follow to the Hospital.

Offered the 4th Tuesday of every month 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Sister Innocent Conference Center at Holy Cross Hospital.
